This construction effort is estimated at between $25,000 and $100,000 and needs to be completed in 30 calendar days, in the city of Bujumbura, Burundi.

The objective is to have a fully functioning water well that will supply water to the Embassy compound.  In accordance with the terms and conditions set forth below, the Contractor will furnish all supervision, labor, management, facilities, supplies, equipment and material, and all required services necessary for the performance of the work.  The Contractor will provide the required services to the U.S. Government as described in the statement of work, drawings and specifications in the solicitation package.

All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work.  At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:

19BY7021Q0004 CMR WALL ADVERTISEMENT

The Embassy has a requirement for a firm to build a perimeter wall of 144.62m length at CMR.  This construction effort is estimated at $100,000 and $250,000 and needs to be completed in 120 working days from the notice to proceed, in Bujumbura, Burundi.  This work consist of building a concrete perimeter wall of minimum height 2.75m from soil (inside and outside of wall), electrical installation of light fixtures as well as concertina wires by following the requirements in the statement of work, drawings and specifications in the solicitation package.

All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work.  At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:

  • Be able to understand written and spoken English;
  • Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;
  • Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;
  • Have all licenses and permits required by local law;
  • Meet all local insurance requirements;
  • Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution;
  • Have no adverse criminal record;
  • Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States;

ADVERTISEMENT EMB 2 WALL

The Embassy has a requirement for a firm to construct a perimeter wall at the chief of Mission’s residence.  This construction effort is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000 and needs to be completed in 120 days, in Bujumbura, Burundi.  This work requires construction services of a new site perimeter masonry walls at the EMB-2 residential house for the U.S. Embassy Bujumbura, Burundi. The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and tools necessary to build site perimeter masonry wall with lighting and concertina wires.
